WHO WE ARE
Evangelical—It’s all about the gospel. It’s all about Christ crucified, risen, ascended, and returning. Our sins are forgiven and we are made new creations through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
Confessional—Our Lutheran confessions are faithful witnesses to Holy Scripture and help us interpret it rightly. The confessional documents that regulate our faith and practice are contained in the Book of Concord (1580).
Liturgical—Our worship together follows a regular and historic pattern that faithfully teaches and reverently celebrates the words and works of God.
Missional—Our mission until Jesus returns is to make disciples and make them stronger through Word and Sacrament. (Matt. 28:18-20)
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (founded 1920) is located in Norfolk, Virginia
We are a member congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
